| MULTIERA LEGACY BROWSER |
|
Status: In Development The MultiEra Legacy Browser is being developed for computers that can no longer make practical use of today's web. It is intended to stay small, fast and deliberately simple. Planned focus: - classic HTTP - simple HTML - text and links - GIF/JPEG and, depending on platform, additional image formats - downloads - low hardware requirements The browser is not intended to force a modern Chromium-style engine onto old hardware. It is meant to serve exactly the kind of web for which the MultiEra Legacy site is being built. First important target: Win16 / Windows 3.1. Additional platforms will be evaluated after the first technical prototypes. |
